A golden malty 'Tripel' with a well-balanced bitterness and fruity aftertaste. Diverse flavours come together in harmony. Fresh dry to slightly sweet with subtle notes of coriander. The scent of yellow fruit and delicate bitterness determine the definition of this original tripel.

Draught at Moeder Lambic, Fontainas
Deep blond color, hazy, with creamy head. The aroma is sweetish, with malt, cereals, some spices. Smooth mouthfeel, with malt flavor and spicy yeast; there is a light residual sweetness, but less than in the Hop Ruiter tasted side to side, therefore more balanced; medium-low bitterness. Pleasant.

330ml bottle, 8.5% abv, from the fridge at ‘t Antwaerps Bierhuiske where the beer was served in a delicate way by a smiling barmaid. Gets an extra score for the funny label design. Amber-gold body. Rocky, white lacing-head. Aroma is herbal dry with spiced fruits. Malt-fruity taste, spicy and yeasty, culminating in a ripe fruity finish. Integrated alcohol. A good triple that is not too sweet and drinks rather well. Celebrating my rating no. 4000 with Finn in Antwerpen, 28.04.2011).

Trinkbar. 10/7/9/7/6/7

20/10/2010 - 33cl bottle @ home Thanks to Anniek for the bottle!

Pours a cloudy golden yellow beer, creamy rocky and adhesive head. Aroma holds a lot of hops, some (stone) fruits. MF is ok, medium body. Taste is malty, hopse, some warm alcohol. Aftertaste is a little dry, citrus and spices. Some nasty metallic / rusty aftertaste.

on tap at the Doerak in Delft. Hazy wit beer appearance. Not much head. Drinkable. Reminds me of La Chouffe.

Bottled. Light yellow pastel color with lace. Estery, wheaty aroma. Slightly sweet, with banana, spices, and orange. Thick, full, and smooth. A nice, wheaty strong beer.
