Draft - Big and rich espresso and chocolate notes. Jet brown with a decent beige head. Big and perfumy dark roast coffee. Big, roasty and nice sweetness and along complex fruity finish. Well done.

Aug. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle at Craft Room, Zagreb. This one poured almost a black body with quite a big head, off white of course. Cocoa-coffee aroma, very pleasant. Flavor was lightly sweet, although it could be said it was coffee dominated, this was balanced out nicely with caramel, cocoa, fruity toasted malt, and chalky lactic note. Some subtle bitterness grown up later on, taking a big part in its long finish. Otherwise, of course, it followed the pleasant coffee-cocoa profile. Full bodied, very tasty, well elaborated.

Piwo w stylu ktorego niezbyt lubie. Piana kremowa srednia ale bardzo trwala, zdobi szklo. Kolor brazowo bordowy, mnostwo w aromacie kawy zmieszanej z grejfrurem z chmieli from US. W smaku takze jest ale laktoza zbyt oslodzila piwo daktyle w tle. Ja pijam kawe espresso i bez zadnych dodatkow. Tu mam slodka kawe w dodatku jakby z mlekiem. OK ale nie do konca sobie to tak wyobrazalem

33cl bottle. Dark caramel-brown pour with a medium height tan head with decent retention. Notes of roasted coffee, brewed coffee, citrus hops, grapefruit zest, lactose, unripe tropical fruit and a bit of sugar. Medium body, medium to high carbonation and a roasty, caramely bitter-sweet finish.

Hazy brown beer, beige head. Malty, bitter chocolate and heavy coffee in the aroma. Taste is coffee but lighter than expected. Malt, a touch of burnt toffee but it really is all about the coffee, just a dash of dark chocolate.

0.33 l bottle at Svijet piva (World of Beers), Zagreb. Shared with lovely Anja, Shotgun Fred and Marko. Last year. Dark brown, lasting tan head. Malty and fruity, caramel, but coffee very light. Light sweetness, metallic notes. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, coffee finish. I wasn’t impressed, though everyone else seemed to be. It was the last beer of the evening, maybe one to many for tasting. Will try again.
