Bottle at home. Aroma is coffee beans, hazelnuts, espresso, hint of chocolate, hops, malt, some citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Surprisingly hoppy espresso coffee beer with the nuttiness of a Brown Ale, tasty!

Аромат свежего кофе. Кремовая пена долго не падает. Цвет очень темный. Вкус черного шоколада и черного кофе с отчетливой кислинкой. Пиво очень горькое для коричневого эля.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of coffee, cocoa, nuts and dark fruit. Pours cloudy dark brown color with thin creamy light brown head, coffee residue and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with rich roasted malt and bitter coffee, follows by light to medium sweet chocolate, mouthfeel is smooth,
while finish is pretty bitter. Medium to full body, oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. Bow to coffee messiah…

I didn’t find it to be an elite beer, event a but stale and lifeless. Slightly muddied and blah. Maybe a bettee handled bottle is needed. To Øl adventkal 2022

Bottle drunk after a Christmas market, while eating truffle oil pan grilled pimientos di padron. I've had this beer before but somehow never rated it. Deepest brown, big tan head, slightly sweet-ish cold coffee nose. Really nice smooth flavor, sweet at first with a moderate bitterness at the tail end that fades to cacao and coffee aftertaste. Could do without the lactose. Not too sweet as many such beers tend to be. Really an excellent example of its name!

Bottle from HavnensVin&Tobak. Pours opaque dark brown with medium off-white head. Aroma is dark malt, rye bread, coffee, chocolate, oak, coconut, cocoa and vanilla and hints of peated malt. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter, faint acidic and faint salty. Body is light oily with light fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with intense roasted malt, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, coconut and oak. Very nice, smooth and sweet brown ale

Poured from the tap. Very dark brown with small beige head. Coffee forward, mild dark roast, hint of chocolate, slightly nutty. The flavour profile as a whole seems a touch muted, but very balanced. Good stuff.

Bottle. Pours mildly hazy dark brown with stable light tan head. Clear aroma of hops and coffee, with estery notes. Bitter flavour of roast and hops, with estery and nutty notes and touches of caramel malt. Roasty and estery aftertaste with mild acidic hints and touches of nuts. Well-balanced, tasty, and enjoyable. Good work, To Øl.
