Bottle from Swedish "Systembolaget" in July 2005.A Swedish attempt of an English ale. Rather nice compared to the usual very boring products of Falcon, but not good when compared to a lot of other ales. Nice to see that they have started to try making other than very boring lagers though...

Bottle. Fruity, but not very pleasant aroma. Clear greyish copper colour. Very small, unstable white head. The flavour is a little watery with a slight maltiness. Leaves a slight anis feel in mouth. Low bitterness and low carbonation.

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, clear dark amber colour - almost coppery - with a very small, off-white head. Light aroma of caramel. Rather light, dry body with roasted notes. Short dry bitterness in the finish. 071005

A dirty orange beer with a disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with some hop notes, while the flavor is malty with notes of caramel as well as some burnt notes giving it a dry end. Can’t tell this is an ale - where is the fruityness?

Amber coloured with an o.k. head. Vague aroma, I guess there’s malt and hops there...somwhere. Slight roasted flavour with a vague hint of toffee. Unpleasant, sourish almond-y bitterness in the finish.
