Bottle 12fl.oz. [ As Prairie Artisan Ales Pirate Bomb! ].ABV: 14.0%. Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, alcohol - rum - sweet alcohol, coffee vegetable, light earthy chili - chili fruit. Flavour is heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, chili warm, dusty coffee. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Pitch black color, small head. Strong aroma, chocolate, strong presence of dusty mexican chili peppers. Thick mouthfeel, chocolate flavor, moderately sweet, but with some artificial vanilla, some tobacco, chilies.

Bottle at tasting. Black oily beer, almost no head. Aroma of chili, rum, cacao and coffee. Taste of up-front chili, coffee, boozy vanilla rum, some raisin and in the finish mostly vanilla rum again. Rich beer, very tasty.

On tap at Mikkeller Stockholm. Very dark brown with a minimal tan head. Sweet with vanilla, milk chocolate, chili and light roasted notes. Also some hints of coffee and oak. The mouthfeel was creamy and the finish long with warming alcohol.

There’s a lot going on in this one: chocolate, coffee, licorice, toffee and rum followed by a warming, growing chili heat. Smooth mouthfeel. Fascinating. Perhaps a little bit too much chili.

[2/15/15] Bottle at Mikkeller Bar in San Francisco. Black with a brown head. Big roasty aroma of coffee, chili, wood and cocoa. Roasty flavor with coffee, dark chocolate, a bit of vanilla and quite a bit of chili. Finishes a bit hot. Full-bodied. Very good stuff.

Thnx to Marco! Pours black, small grey head. Smell is burnt malts, some coffee. Very intense. Taste is sweet, dark malts, vanilla. Some coffee, some peppers. Nice mouthfeel and perfecr carbo. Dindt really get the oak or the rhum though.

Tap at craft, 9th March 15, good half pint of 15%er for a Monday. The aroma hits you from far, coffee, chocolate, boozy rum. Taste is smooth and tasty, chocolate, rum, liquorice, leather. Great bastard of a beer

Draught at Ă–stersunds maltfestival cons 2015-02-28 Ă–stersund - Lucky people in Ă–stersund, there are 3 more kegs more... AR: dark chocolate mixed with childrens chocolate milk drink called Oboj, wee vanilla AP: very thick brown liquid, stouty dark brown lid F: chocolate sauce, wee chilli kick (perfect since I hate chilli in beer), very warming feeling, honey, wee red berries - best beer at the festival!!!
