Undated 375mL bottle drunk 12/25/23. Gently cloudy, light cherry-rose. Rapidly fizzling, pinkish head. Real nice poopy-bretty nose. Love that funky barnyard with nicely macerated, floral and spice from the cherry. Low oak, low sugar. Bit of oak tannin, lots of Brett and funky barnyard with no aggressive acidity. Lingering Brett acids, tons of funk, cherry skin and light pit. Could use a touch more malt depth and tighter carbination, but it's a fairly minor quibble. Love the culture they've used, the dryness and the maceration of the fruit.

Kind of a pinkish orange translucent color with a very short lived fizzy head. Aromas are Brett, mild cherry and a little bit of machine oil. Flavors are similar to nose, slightly more tart than sweet, again mild. On the thin side with okay carbonation.

Capped 375 mL bottle from Ridgeview Liquor, 8.2.21. Hazy red thin head that fades quickly. Aroma of sweet cherry, cherry chapstick, mild funk. Taste is pepper, funk, tart cherry. Bright. Nice.

Hazy watermelon pink-orange body, effervescent white head. Nose tart, lactic, with cherry, cherry skin, modest sweetness, and some barnyard/cobwebby funk. Sharp, tart, semi-dry body, lots of bite and noseburn, with tart cherry and hints of cheese rind, but nothing too wild or funky. Hey, a real Michigan sour!

Draft at 8 Degrees Plato. Pours a clearish pink-red with a quickly dissipating off-white head. Big tart cherry nose with bright cherry flesh and Sakura mochi aromas. Oak and light lemon in the palate. Cherry pit dryness. Not overly acidic. Super balanced and crushable. Elegant tartness that might be missing a touch of complexity but a really strong effort.
