First blended in 2016, Moonwalk has become one of, not to say, the cornerstone of the Bofkont story. The apricots are sourced directly from the Ardèche region in France and consist predominantly of Bergeron apricots, prized for their intense aroma and rich, velvety character

Each year, we carefully select the barrels that will shape the blend. A soft lambic, bringing a gentle lactic touch, has become a defining element of Moonwalk over the years. Our goal remains the same with every vintage: to showcase the beer's fruity and creamy character, supported by the refreshing acidity of the lambic without allowing it to dominate the blend.

The result is a balanced and elegant expression of apricot, where bright fruit notes, subtle creaminess, and a refined acidity come together in harmony.

750 ml bottle. 2021 vintage. Pours a golden orange with light head. Aromas of apricots, lemons, a.little barnyard funk, and sharp wheat. Flavors of apricot skins, citrus, a little green grapes and more sharp wheat. Moderate acuity. Lots of apricots but nicely balanced acidity. Very good.

Taster during MBCC 2023 Friday morning session shared with Ryan, Matt, Phill, Brian, and Erik. A bit too acidic, however, the aroma was amazing.

Bottle pour at MBCC 2023, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out pithy apricots, moderate funk and gentle acidity. Flavour is bright and fruity, with intense apricot, moderate acidity, and a touch of funk. Intense apricot fruitiness and moderate-high acidity, even some bitterness on the finish. Good.
