Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque, deep fark brown with next to no head. Nose has subtle roast and some booze showing. Medium body, roast and dark dried fruit but gets very boozy from the rhum barrel, boozy and raw. No real rhum flavour. Roughish. I think I prefer the non barrel aged version. 090914

Better than the normal Gozer, has more body thanks to the aging. The oatmeal stout goes well with the warming sweetness of the rhum. Good one.

Draft at the Kaapse Beer festival. Pours near black with a ring tan head. Aroma of rum, booze, wood, dark chocolate, roast, vinous and dark fruity notes. Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
