16-06-18 // tap, taster at Festival der Bierkulturen Köln 2018. Clear red golden. Nose is slightly vegetables. Quite flat in taste, mild sourness, mild beetroot.

Draught at KCBD18 as Beetroot Wild Ale. Beetroot aroma, sweetish and citric, but fortunately not earthy. Cloudy red/orange colour. Stable pink head. The flavour is citric, and has a fairly funky finish. Some beetroot flavour, but none of the dreaded earth.

Draught @ KCBD18, as Beetroot Sour Ale. Pours hazy strawberry read with airy pinkish head. Clear aroma of wild yeast, with notes of dust and touches of hops. Bitterish, hoppy onset, with notes of beetroot - oxidated but not aggressive - and sweetish touches of yeast and malt. Bitter and slightly earthy aftertaste. Well-balanced and quite enjoyable. Not bad for a beetroot ale.

Clear golden and hazy. Solid fruity. Dry and slight herbal finish.Mild sour and slight fruity.
