This long-awaited iteration of Oblivion is a sour red ale aged with double the standard amount of blackberries and dates in bourbon barrels. These flavorful Kentucky barrels are then artfully blended to enhance the intense fruit and higher abv.

Tap at the Halford. My first Wicked Weed....and I actually had it the day they announced the sale. Fantastic sour with massive dark fruit supporting throughout. Complex.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark fruity. Mild citric. Lingering fruity and sourish. Sourish and slight wooden to earthy. Citric and smooth fruity far finish. Lingering fruity and crisp citric far finish.

Bottle @ Scheffels Otha fish in the sea Tasting. Pours Deep amber with a beige head. Wood, caramel, funk, Dark fruit, vanilla, nuts. Lovelyness - Reminds me of cuvee tomme although its been too many years.

Bottle from Best of Beers. Hazy deep reddish brown with a big and lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, dark malts, caramel, dark fruit, blackberries, barnyard, wood and light bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet and rather acidic. Dry and rather acidic finish. 221016

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish sweet, soda powder, dark malts, sour dark fruits, minerals, berry skin, sorrel, oak, bark, dark sugar, hints of rotten fruits. Taste is sour-ish dry, soda powder, sorrel, minerals, berry skin, bark, black currants, oak, grass. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh sour-ish mouthfeel. Nice enough.
