Tap at Mild Craft, Bangkok. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, grassy citrus, tropical fruit hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a crispy, fresh, fruity dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

This beer is a clear golden color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lace. The aroma consists of dank hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of dank fruit, oniony hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Can - figured I'd try the beer that set the precedent for the 14-dollar-per-four-pack IPA - it's a good IPA, but I can't help but hate it for the world it helped to usher in - it's also a tiny bit abrasive on the back end - grapefruit pith, pepper, orange rind - lingering pithiness.

Double IPA by this Massachusetts craft brewery, draught at BXL Beerfest. Egg-white, medium thick, moussy head on a hazy pure golden beer. Aroma of unripe mango, lime peel, lemongrass, grapefruit juice, papaja, withering leek, dill, soggy bread. Sweet onset with a sourish edge, mango, banana peel and lime notes, fizzy carb, slick cereally malt base, lightly biscuity; long, resinous hoppy finish, bit oniony, grapefruity and exotic-peppery, mildly but 'longly' bittering and quite aromatic and spicy. Very decent, typical East Coast IPA, the precursor of the current New England IPA style in a way, enjoyed it.
