Our flagship IPA features six hop varietals and a blend of spelt, oat and wheat. A late hop addition of Mosaic, Falconer’s Flight and Amarillo delivers a notable citrus and tropical fruit finish.

March canning date means this pint’s getting a little long in the tooth for a new-school IPA, but, looking at the other reviews, maybe age has done Boom Sauce some favors. Heavy passion fruit, grapefruit, pineapple, and berry are offset by pine and resin, underlined by a subtle grainy, caramel-tinged note and a dry, warm finish. Clingy bitterness on the fade. Very nice DIPA.

Can. Hazy golden head with a frothy white head. Aroma to pine, resin, citrus, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Lots of hop flavors, but rough around the edges with the malts and hops getting in each other's way. Lingering bitterness.

Can. Translucent, modestly (if that) hazy medium orange-brown body, thick puffy off-white head. Pungent tropical fruit nose, with fermented fruitskin and onions. Rather dry body, bitter, with floral and tropical fruit characteristics (tangerine, pineapple, mango?) and a pungent vegetal quality. Maintains its bitter/rindy character with warmth. Good beer; the nose is the standout.

Caña en Cimmeria 25..12.. 2018. (r325). Color ámbar anaranjado turbio con espuma blanca. Sabores maltosos con buenos herbales algo maduros y suaves afrutados. Cuerpo medio notándose algo de densidad. Bastante buena para repetir.
