330ml bottle from Ales by Mail. 2014 vintage. Pours pitch black with a foamy brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, chocolate, cocoa, hints of licorice. Taste is sweetish, roasty and salty with loads of licorice, some coffee and cocoa notes. Finish is roasty, malty and slightly salty with some licorice and coffee notes. Okay.

Bottle at Partizan, pours black with a tiny brown head. Nose brings dark fruits, licorice and roasted malt. Flavour brings out licorice, light tartness and a touch of cocoa. Not a fan of the licorice and tartness, but it's not bad. Okay.

Bottle from the brewery. 8.1%. Bottled 31/03/2014. (How many versions?). Any road... Just about black. Thin, tight, lasting, light brown head. Very woody. Cocoa. Some minty chocolate. Taste is dry, and light bitter. Palate feels a bit thin. Finishes dry, and light bitter. Not chewy sweet enough, for me.

Bottle at home, 29th June 14. Thinnish palate for the ABV. The aroma is smoke and ash, some chocolate, the taste is smooth and ashy, nice carbonation, good one
