Growler shared @ MBCC thanks to Dan the man and the GI taproom for allowing Dan to bring this over. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma has a lot of sweet caramel, fudge, vanilla, dark fruits, light maple, but more as a syrupy caramelly note than straight up maple, lightly leathery. Taste has lots of caramel, maple, fudgey, vanilla, dark chocolate, lots of dark fruits, heavy thick and sweet, lightly tannic dry finish. Very, very nice!
