Aroma of bready malt, caramel, ripe fruits, orange, floral notes, some pine, spicy notes, some hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate to medium bitter finish. Okay, but too malty and sweet to be a winner. I like my IPA’s fruity and hoppy. (Bottle was a bit old so I’d like to try a fresh sample one day.)

Bier Temple, Amsterdam. Bottle. Almost clear amber beer, big fluffy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and lightly crisp. Semi dry. Airy malts, trace of caramel. Hops are minty floral spice with a little dried orange. Light semi dry finish. More of a reasonably hopped amber than an out and out IPA.

Bottle split at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 25/09/14. Almost clear golden copper with a decent off white covering. Nose is light plastic, spice, caramel, bitter citric notes, toffee. Taste comprises toffee, dark fruit rinds, earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so for stlye, more like an ESB!

Copper colour. Quite a lot of fresh pale malts in the aroma. Taste is soft, smooth, low carbonation, easy to drink. Floral hop and a light bittersweet citrusy flavour. Well balanced.
