One of our very first beers with a recipe essentially unchanged ever since the first brew.

A classic, robust London style porter – with our own twist. Smooth and full-bodied, bursting with aromas of dark, bitter chocolate, and roasted coffee. Brewed with 100% British ingredients, East Kent Goldings Hops and an array of seven different malts.

While in stock and enjoyed throughout the year, it’s in the colder, wintery months when Railway Porter really hits the spot. Grab a pint, sit back, and enjoy.

On Cask. Smooth intense malty beginning. Fresh, roasted, smooth. Intense malty-smokey with a nice floral undertone. The aftertaste is long, roasted-intense. Great!

Guest beer on cask, 1/3 pint at The Cock Tavern. Spotty lacing from a a low fawn-coloured head. Jet black body. Slightly roasted black malts on the nose. Mild chocolate, earth, and coffee to the flavour character. Smooth in the mouth. Medium bodied. A nice porter, maybe a tad too sweet (Hackney, London 13.07.2014).
