Our flagship West coast-style IPA is brewed with the finest hand selected NW hops - delivering a resinous punch of grapefruit, pine, lemon and a hint of dankness. Well balanced and moderately bitter, this brew finishes crisp and dry.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: murky orange in color with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated finely to leave some light lace
Aroma: danky to earthy hop bitterness; super light piney hops underneath; caramel/toffee maltiness
Flavor: the prior noted aromas blend bittersweet fairly nice; mild aftertaste of danky to earthy hoppiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, some sessionability about it, finishes crisp, dry and danky
Overall: I get it as a WC styled IPA, I'd say it's worthy of coming back to.

On tap at Loyal Legion. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma has clean pine, dank hops, and a woody base. Flavour has woody pine and somewhat subdued dank notes. Tons of great hop expression; a bit dirty though.

Can from Downtown LIquor Store in Salem, OR. Pours clear gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is a mix with pine standing out over slightly roasty malt. Med body. Soft and somewhat creamy texture. Moderately bitter, or perhaps a bit more. It's pine, spruce, wood and more pine. Gets more bitter over time. A bit different from common IPAs. Harks back to those Thrilling Days of Yester Year.

Bright, light gold colour. Just a thin head. Lots of hops on the nose, lots of pale malts, too. Vaguely piney and pamplemoussey. Sweet malts, lots of bitterness. Fresh hoppiness, almost a bit overripe with its subtropical notes, but generally quite good.

Tap at the brewpub in Bend. A pretty classic IPA with a lot of hops packed in but a bit soapy.

Draft pour at Sunriver Brewing, Bend. After 5 of their other IPAs in a flight, I arrive at their flagship. A mostly clean golden orange get pour. Thin film head. Really soft aroma, near absent really. Subtle grain. Flavor is a soft vegetal hop combination. Bold flavor. Imperial feel. A sharp bitter bite to this. Bordering harsh. A strange deal here. A full set of really nice IPAs, and the flagship brew ends up being the weakest link in my opinion. Just an alright IPA for me.
