Bottle thanks to Phil. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong wood, roasted malt, smoke, dark chocolate, bourbon. Thick body, similar flavors to nose, boozy, bitter roast, very good.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle #170/743. Aroma is nice and very reminiscent of regular Pugachev. A light cherry note. Lots of chocolate and lighter maple with a bit of bourbon. Hints of oak. Light roast. Pours black with a small, moderately thick, mocha head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit. Light lacing and a sheet of alcohol. Flavor is very sweet with quite a bit of chocolate and maple notes. Some light roast and bourbon notes with a hint of oak. Light cherry notes. Low bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium full to full bodied and slightly silky with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice Pugachev stout, but it really doesnβt have much cherry character. Nice maple notes and chocolate.
