Bottled version of Meg’s Tail. Golden in colour with a gentle fireside aroma & hint of honey. Warm peat smoke with hints of caramel.

Bottle at home. Pours deep amber, nose is toffee, smoky, floral, taste is similar, a little thin.

500ml bottle from great grog. Pours clear golden amber, merest ring of white head. Strong, smoky, bonfire aromas. Islay whisky too. Iodine. Taste is more peat smoke, behind that some sweetness, faint marmalade. Slightly thin body. Challenging.
