330ml bottle bought on recommendation at De Bierkoning in Amsterdam. Rocky white head blanketing the glass, cloudy dark golden coloured body. Prominent floral hoppy aroma, semi-dry. Rich succulent fruit hoppy taste, notes of orange and grapefruit. Well-rounded fruit bitter aftertaste. Not so dry. Soft in the mouth. Fine bodied. Well-crafted. Tasty and enjoying (upstream on the Rhine, Cabin, MS Serenade 1, 22.07.2014).

On tap at Butcher’s Tears. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of fruity hops, sweet malts, grapefruit, some tropical stuff, some leaves. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, light sugary, leafy, hoppy, grapefruit, tropical fruit, nice bitter finish with some underlying sugar. Light to medium-bodied, soft carbonation, very easy drinking. Nice.

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning @ home. Orange to amber color, fairly clear. Big white rocky head with long retention and good lacing. Aroma’s: flowery hops, earthy bitterness as well as some sweet fruits. More fruit retronasal. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a moderate bitter backbone, some fruit. Medium bodied. Finishes somewhat dry and rather bitter. Maybe not quite APA, but nice anyway.
