33cl bottle, BBE 08/2014. alc. 5%. Poured amber with a thin white head. Aroma has hops and fruit mostly, musty. Flavor is hops, yeast, apple cider, Very dry finish. Not bad at all, refreshing but light body

bottle from Bierzwerg. Hazy amber colour, mid-sized white head. Intensive hop aroma with a touch of fruit. Very light-bodied, shy malty background, lots of bitter and aromatic hops, very fruity.

draft 25 cl. @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas served in a Chez Moeder tulip – A: hazy orange with a white head – S & T: bitter upfront with a slight herbal touch, lots of hay, very floral, grass with a small hint of peaches, floral & citric hops – uninteresting & unpleasant dominating froal & grass bitterness, bitter hay – B: definitely a bit too watery – It is ok but it is definitely not a Saison which entrails me nor one which I enjoyed all that much – the body is definitely bit of a let down and this kind of bitterness simply doesn’t work for me

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, white head. Smell lightly fruity, pretty fresh. Taste fruits and a little sweet. Little bit bitter finish. Medium carbo and body.

Bottle at DHL. Hazy golden color, fluffy white head. Decent aroma of barnyard and citrus. Taste is similar. Nice.

Bouteille 33cl @ Bier Circus, Bruxelles. Orangée, col blanc cassé qui occupe une bonne place dans le verre. Arôme est fleuri avec note de citron et pétale, herbacée dans le style de la saison. En bouche, une bière au palais épais et sec, présence de levure, finement houblonnée mais avec une bonne note fruitée laissant se dégager une légère amertume. Une saison de très bonne facture.

First beer i tried from this brewery. It raked up a nice score. Nice amber colour. Good smell, taste and mouthfeel. Pretty decent.

750 ml. Huge, pillowy,off-white head, lasting. Body is hazy amber. Picey aroma with notes of caramel, toasted grain, cookie and flowers. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture and lively carbonation that softens out in the finish. Peppery notes in the taste along with some mustiness. Not among the better saisons and in some ways not a saison, especially in the finish. Heftier body in the mouthfeel. Yet I enjoyed drinking this. The fruit tastes were nicely overrun by the pepper. Not to mention that this a great-looking beer.

Pour is a dark brown with a large white head. Aroma is yeasty with some pale malts. Flavor is earthy with some dark fruit. No funk, spice or anything your looking for in a saison. Finish is sweet and cloying. This is not like a saison what so ever.
