Appearance: An amber colored beer with a beige head
Flavor: Mostly yeast taste, fairly mediocre flavor
Palate: The palate is on the thin side and watery
Overall Impression: This was a pretty mediocre saison in my opinion, I just was not impressed at all.

Bottle @ Bier Circus, Brussels. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty slightly bitter aroma. Fruity malty bitter spicy flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

33 cl bottle thanks to Diar!On July 9, 2009BB01/2012Slight hazy copper color, creamy off-white head. Spicy, grassy scent. Harsh bitter grainy taste. Bitter and burnt toast aftertaste. Medium to moussy mouthfeel, harsh bitterness.

33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Not sure if this was off or what, or a slightly bad bottle. Slight rubber on aroma with some English hops. It does taste a bit like an English bitter, apart from this horrible rubbery aroma and flavour to it. Has anyone noticed the Lou Reed doesn?t actually sing on Dirty Boulevard, he just speaks. Mind you it does have a great hook line. It settles down a bit with some toffee and decent hop, but terrible rubber runs through it. 2.6. re rate bottle at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone clear amber caramel aroma. yes a malty beer but not a saison. touch of nuts. ok.

Medium amber-orange color with a medium head. Earthy, fruity caramel malt aroma. Not very fragrant, but spicy and with a slight sour, almost brettish quality. Earthy flavor, with slightly sweet caramel malt and a touch of tart citrus as well as cookies. Light but tasty. Refreshing—sessionable and solid, though not too special.

(33cl bottle) Slightly hazy, reddish amber colour with a big and beige foamy head. Sweet and a bit dusty, toasty malty and slightly bready aroma with notes of caramel, draff and a shy hoppy touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry, solid toasted malty base with notes of bread, caramel and a restrained fruit-character; dry, moderately bitter and toasty finish with a good dash of herbal hops (25.II.09).
