Inspired by Electric Avenue, the beating heart of Brixton, our lively IPA is an assault on the senses – much like its namesake. This beer is all about the interplay between malt and hop – the perfect harmony of sweet and bitter. Electric is assertive but perfectly balanced with a solid backbone that rolls into a lingering hoppy finish.

Bottle, thanks daniele. Ancient golden clear color, medium creamy cap. Nose: something wrong, perhaps too old. Mouth: no, absolutely unpleasant.

Stable, bit fluffy just off-white head over lowly carbonated clear paler copper-golden beer. Very fruity, aromatic nose, with ureum, rosewater, citrus, passion fruit, lunaria. Bitterish-fruity hoppy taste with a good sweet-ish malt backing, pale, crystal & lightly toasted malts. Retronasal again all the above fruit- and other esters. Undercarbonated, light body, slight hopoilslickness. They must cling to the CO² rebuff, no? Decent, IPA. Thanks, Jezza!

Clear amber, white head. Grassy grapefruit aroma. Taste is the same. Tropical fruit, citrus, sweet malts, some bitter hop which lingers into the aftertaste. It’s really rather nice.

Bottled. Hazy goldeny orange colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with some sweet bready malts with mild toffee as well. Flavour is citrus, some toffee, mild herbal and some nectary notes to it as well. Wellbalanced and quite easy to drink.

Bottled 330ml (AbM)
Deep amber color, small mostly vanishing white head. Strong butterscotch diacetylic aroma, some tartish and glueish hoppy notes. Quite a mess. Medium-bodied. Diacetyl is not so evident in the flavor. Butterscotch, wood, grass. Lingering resiny bitterness. Something gone wrong here. (BB 11/07/2016)

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como
Hazy blond color with generous head. Leafy hop, a bit funky in the aroma. The malt has a bit of cereal profile. The hop is mostly resiny, for accentuated bitterness.
Quite good, surely bold.

Poured from keg at Craft Beer Co St Marys Axe. Shared with Finn. Filmy layer, spotty lacing, clear amber-gold body. Mixed aromas of fresh and dried fruits. Dried fruits, grapefruit and lemon to the taste buds. Rounded bitter ending. Well bodied. Tasty version of the style (London 30.11.2015).
