Inspired by Electric Avenue, the beating heart of Brixton, our lively IPA is an assault on the senses – much like its namesake. This beer is all about the interplay between malt and hop – the perfect harmony of sweet and bitter. Electric is assertive but perfectly balanced with a solid backbone that rolls into a lingering hoppy finish.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is citrus,, marmalade, grassy hop, light floral. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big citrus, grass, pepper spice hop palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Cask at The Harp, London. A hazy amber/golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy, fruity, some peach but lacking in complexity. I thought this was supposed to be a decent brewery but this was average at best, thank god for the 3 pints of Anspach and Hobday porter that I had afterwards.

Bottle, Londis, Penny Lane, Liverpool. Hazy amber looks with a white head. Pine and citrus notes in the beak. Flavour was grassy hop, citrus and plastic. Slightly leaden bitterness. Fine I suppose but really there is a hell of a lot better IPAs to be found out there in beerland.
