Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: golden yellow color with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: kiwis, kumquats, vinous tones, funky/floral character, green apple and oak
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together in a tart to sour to semi-sweet sort of way with a finish of kiwi/green apple/kumquat funky vinous sweetness
Texture: light to medium bodied, good sipper, plenty of vinous tart to sour acidity seems to act pretty abrasive with the tongue but I knew that was coming
Overall: a very nicely done sour ale I'd be willing to come back to.

Bottle picked up at Granzellas in Williams, CA. Pours a light golden color with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and tart. Starts off gentle as this turned out to be very sour. Fruity too, but the sour is really potent. Some vinous notes too. Definitely a sipper.

Bottle from Jake. Hazy, pale golden, small, sparse head. Gentle sour, tart aroma. Taste dials up both the fruit and the tartness. Right amount of sweetness and tartness.

Bottle from Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours hazy gold with a slight, transient white head. Mild aroma of sour citrus. And maybe more. Near med body. Flavor is sourish (but spritely) fruit with something suggesting pedio. I’m sure Brett is not in this. Very astringent - I’m putting that down to wood, kiwi and those (weird/strange/zesty sort of) kumquats. In fact maybe mostly those kumquats. It’s not all that challenging, but it certainly isn’t going to put anyone to sleep upon entry into mouth. Ok. Final thought. This is kumquat ale.

On tap at Beer Revolution. It pours a light orange color with an off white head. The aroma is fresh and acidic with orange, kiwi and kumquat. Lots of acid on the nose with some light hints of biscuity malt. The flavor is orange forward. Lots of lactic acid with significant kiwi notes. Very acidic, but nothing approaching vinegar or solvents. Mostly citric and lactic acid. Orange and kiwi predominately. It has a pretty full mouthfeel and is a tad oily on the palate. The finish is clean and dry with hints of white wine and oak. Very nice!
