Our IPA uses a blend of American and English hops to create a beer that is the best of both worlds. Combining Columbus and Kent Goldings hops, Broadside starts off with well rounded aromas of pine and citrus balanced against the earthy notes of the revered English hop variety. Those same flavors unite with crystal malts to create a vivid hop sensation without excessive bittering. Rye malt adds a subtle spicy character to the profile and creates a tongue coating sensation that blankets the entire mouth with hoppy goodness. This is a single IPA, so hop flavor and aroma take center stage while the bitterness, although definitely present, does not overpower them. The name Broadside was chosen by popular vote through our Facebook page and now we're proud to provide a beer that you all help us create.
