12 oz can poured. A dark and dense copper orange pour with a ton of loose foam head. Bready, caramel malt primary aroma. Flavor is quite bitter and metallic for me. The metallic note stings and lingers here. Strong malt backbone to it. Toasty caramel. Overall, a bit intense, and a sipper of an amber for my taste.

Can: Poured a malty brown with tan head. Aroma is grassy and malts. Taste is a metallic and grass, astringent finish.

From a 12 oz. can it is a clear Amber color with an ecru head. The aroma is malty and the taste starts thin then intensifies to a strong bitter grassy flavor with a bitter finish paired well with Mexican food

From a 12 oz. can. Pours a clear mahogany with an ecru head. Nutty aroma. Flavors of grassy hops. Bitter finish, but goes down well.

On nitro at Bier:Thirty. Cloudy, milky amber body, with creamy head, lacing coats the glass with a thick layer of crust. Smooth red amber lager, unlike any lager I’ve had. Easy to drink for sure.

On tap at Sockeye Pours our a nice amber with lots of red topped with a tan head. Aroma of a malty sweetness. tast of more of the malt and a nice bitterness. Not bad.

On Tap at the brewpub. Clear mahogany color with a light tan head. A bit darker in both respects than I anticipated. Sweet malty aroma. Woody malty flavor with quite a bite. Plenty bitter but not exactly hoppy. Moderate body and so.ewhat astringent. Rather soft carbonation and plenty of late lingering bitters. Like a strong ESB maybe. Interesting.

Tap: Deep reddish amber with a large sandy head. Nice sticky lacing. Aroma is mild of hops and a little caramel malt. Flavor is decently hop-filled with a malty and sort of rye finish. Has a little dry floral feel to it as well. Nice and pleasant way to beat the summer heat.
