Bottle 50cl. Very dark brown amber colour, good creamy tan head, recedes slowly to a thick layer, good lacing. Aroma sweet malty, toasted, caramel, honey, candy sugar, fruit syrup, port wine, raisins. Taste heavy sweet, slightly bitter, toasted. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste sweetbitter, alcoholic, woody. Overall a strong sweet but not too sugary strong ale, very nice

Tap at Rootz festival. Hazy Amber with long lasting bubbly off white head. Nice sweet malt and candy with a light fruity touch (peach). Spicy yeast, and a nice bitter hoppy finish. Nice mouthfeel. Good beer

500ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber colour with huge, thick, foamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Malty, fruity aroma has notes of red berries and cereals, a touch of wet straw. Taste has a moderately sweet malty basis and dry hoppy overtones, both circulating around red berry flavours, fructose-sweetness, fruit parings-dryness, fruit acid-tartness. Nice, but in no way prototypical, style-formative, not to mention paradigmatic.
