Hazy amber beer. Crisp palate. Creamy pale malt base. Fresh orange hop with a vibrant green edge bordering on herbal. There is both sweet and bitter tones here in perfect balance. Another one of those Kernel beers that just slips down way too easily. The abv is not noticeable at all which could make this a dangerous sessioner! 3.9

Old Fountain. Keg. Hazy gold - orange beer. Good pale cream coloured head. Palate is slightly viscous with a light crispy minerally carbonation. Fresh orange hops, rich and bitter marmalade. Touches of lemon and grapefruit. Underneath creamy malt does it’s supporting job well. Finishes with fresh orange citrus and peel. Fantabadoozy!

20th May 2010. Bottle in the Rake. Clear amber beer, good white head. Slightly soft and dry palate. A little caramel malt and then deep rich hops that are not overly bitter. A little orange, piney notes and minerals. Finishes soft and dry. Good stuff indeed. Keep it up!

330ml bottle bought at The Ritz in Leeds last summer. Pours a golden-amber coloured body with a slight haze. Fragile lacing. Nice hoppy fruits to the nose. Rich blended taste of grapefruits, pineapple and peaches. Dry hopped bitter end. Well balanced IPA (shared with Finn, Tromsø 24.01.2011).

Bottle :Top recommendation by Kris@Kris Wines, London. A good looking hazy amber pour with a lingering mid sized off white head. Aroma of cat pee , grassy hop and gooseberry. The flavour really shows the simcoe shining to great effect., with the bitterness building steadily to a fine crescendo. Great mouthfeel. Everything well proportioned and extremely moreish. Alcohol nicely masked. As good an English IPA as I’ve tasted. Cracking stuff. Bravo !
