Goed bier. Malheur 10 van de Belgische brouwerij De Landtsheer is een echt Belgian Ale. Dit goudkleurige bier met crispy witte schuimkraag in mooi in balans. Een volle body en tonen en aroma's van abrikoos, appels en peren. Een fris en fruitig, maar krachtig bier.

Pours cloudy blond. Lots of booze Afrikaans some florals. Carpet lacing and good head. Some citrus peel as well. Finishes bitter, boozy. Average carbonation. Bottle at Imperial Pub.

11.2oz longneck bottle. Unfiltered golden-tan. Massive fluffy off-white head. Zesty, sugary orange aroma. Big bold fruity yeast and alcohol tastes. Light fluffy champagne body. Doughy golden malt, lemon tinged. Green apple, orange, spicy esters. Big and bold, balanced by the yeasty thickness. Still a touch boozy for sure, lingering alcohol in the aftertaste. Big bitter noble/belgo/styrian hop flavor. World Class mouthfeel, enough hop feel to keep it out of Tripel territory, but certainly a big brutal Belgian Golden Ale. Mellows as it breathes. Lots of depth, yeast really shines. Awesome.

Aroma has soapy citrus, some peaches and yeasty notes. Flavour has citrus, peaches, some floral notes, yeast and hints of alcohol. Quite close to a tripel.

A 2001 bottle from Kulminator. Hazy amber beer, no head. Low carbonation but still manages a crispy palate. Some orange in the sweet malt. Brandy alcohol - more flavour then heat. Finishes dry. Clunky.

Bottle shared at a Den Haag RB tasting. A lovely yeasty slightly sour aroma. The flavour is yeasty and "triple like". The palate is rich and malty. A really very nice beer indeed.

330ml bottle. Pours light gold with a large head. Aroma is subtle, light lemon, apple and cotton. Taste has sharp lemon throughout with bubblegu on the finish. Some coriander. Prickly carbonation.

New Beer Distributors, NY 330ml ($3.50): Pours (into a Vicaris chalice) a yellow-orange colour with a pretty white head. Aroma is sugary fruit and a bit of Belgian yeast. By the aroma is definitely foreseeable that it will be a bit heavy and boozy. However, in the taste the booze it rather well covered. I suppose that this is because there is an obscene amount of sugary sweetness in this. Finish is dry, but it doesn’t negate the sugar explosion in my mouth. This could have been a better beer if they controlled the sugar content.
