4/4/2021. Bottle shared at the first post-lockdown Ipswich beer share. From SHIG, cheers. Poured mid amber/brown with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, bread, toffee, malt, biscuit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Finished the day off nicely.

Bottle: Poured a brown with red edges head was tan. Aroma was sweet malts big body aroma. Taste is sweet very malty with nice alcohol bite.

Bomber from the brewpub. Pours darkly ruddy with a slight tan head. Aroma of slightly toasty malt with a chocolate note. Med body at least. Pretty dry start, with mild bourbon and oak, toasty malt, and some chocolate. Kind of earthy. A good beer for a quiet evening.
