Bottle at Ratebeer Best. Pours a cloudy copper with flakes and creamy beige head. The aroma is bready malt and toffee. Medium body, dark fruit, caramel, light booze, toasted malt, very good.

Bottle at RB Best Fest 16: Poured a caramel brown with tan head. Aroma was roasted tobacco. Taste is dark fruity, toffee, malts, bitterness and bold.

Bottle (I think) at RB Best, 31/01/16. Rich chestnut brown topped with a decent beige swirl. Nose is rich malt, figs, fruit cake, tofee. Taste comprises dates, caramel, fig biscuit, malt, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for style.

[1/31/16] Bottle sample at RateBeer Best festival in Santa Rosa. Amber. Malt, caramel, fruitiness. Sweet, bitterish finish.
