[1/31/16] Draught sample at RateBeer Best festival in Santa Rosa. Brown. Cookies, vanilla, nuts, chocolate, some fruitiness. Sweet, bitter finish. Slightly boozy.

Draft - Sweet maple syrup and dark malts. Deep brown with a beige head. Sweet, bitter and malty. Not as good as the wonderful nose.

Draft. Brown beer with a dark cream head. Toffee and caramel aroma with chocolate. Chocolate and toffee flavor with backing brandy and earthiness. Medium bodied. Chocolate and vanilla linger with caramel/toffee, light brandy, and light molasses.

Tap at RBBest2016. Pours brown with bubbles. Aroma of chocolate Brandy? Med + body. Flavor is earthy/Brandy/chocolate/vanilla and maybe wood. A little smoke? Complex and delicious.
