Batch 3 - 2018. Very very light, sorta thin but also over carb'd, reeks of truffle, tastes of hazlenut soda water. Interesting attempt but doesn't seem to have lived long in the bottle. Truffle burps too lol. Would love to try this fresh or draft.

On tap at Wolves & People, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out the truffles upfront, followed by a bit of hazelnut and a touch of dry cocoa. Flavour is very soft, with hazelnut and truffle. Chocolatey and hazelnuty on the finish. Soft on the palate, with a semi-sweet finish. Excellent.

Bottle share. Light for a stout. Mouth feel is watery. Aroma is earthy, dirty. Taste comes in with some dry bitterness. Highly touted here, but I’m not getting it.

750ml bottle thanks to Steve. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is amazing big truffles milk chocolate sweetness roast malts light coffee a nice hazelnut touch and wood. Wow the nose is amazing. Taste is more of the nice roast malts light coffee the milk chocolate sweetness leads the way then the hazelnut the truffles are amazing on the end. This is very good my first wolves and people brew.

Bottle at Culmination fest 2016: Not advertised on the beer list and limited in supply, I was able to get a taste. This poured a dark brown almost black with a tan color head. Aroma was sweet chocolate and hazelnut. Drinks big with a bold roasted malt, chocolate richness, loads of hazelnut. Still cannot believe how low the ABV is for how strong this one tasted!
