Thanks for the crowler, Frank.
Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a light copper color with a slight transparency with a finger’s worth of off white head. Light messy lace
The aroma had a ton of tropical sweet to grassy sweet and bitter hops.
The flavor wants to blend the sweet to the bitter but somewhat leans just a tad to the sweet side. Malts play a bigger role in the taste but nice and balancing. Well blended aftertaste with a nice malts to hops finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionable to sipping sort of quality to it. Good carbonation. Feels good in the ABV department.
Overall, nicely done DIPA well worthy of having again. Damn, the things I miss of Alaska, and to see this state start to blow up in great beers. Luckily, good friends are still there.

Draft: Light coppery appearance with off white head. Aroma is super hops fruity light tropical. Nice huge hops flavored beer, tropical and fruit. Harsh enough to remind me why I like hop beers.
