On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is wet biscuit and roast. Medium mouth, rich roasted malts, nice.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear yet very dark rosy mahogany colored body that supports a nice lasting tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up smooth smelling malts and then thin rings of dark roasted malts and coffee. The taste delivers a nice mix of malt sweetness and dark roasted malts that have a thin ring of coffee and slightly drying lactose. It maintains a sweet to roasty balance right into the finish with snippets of caramel malts around the edges. Nice.
