On tap at Pinthouse Pizza South Lamar. Pours a very dark brown with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is nuts, roasted malt, cocoa. Medium mouth, rich malt, roast, caramel, nuts, boozy finish, very good.

On tap at the Moth. Pours with a hazed brown hued body with a small off-white head. Aromas are of brown sugar, plums, prunes, dark fruit, nutty, malty and earthy. Light alcohol aromas for the ABV. Flavors are of dates, dried plums, dark fruits, low chocolate, nutty, estery, a hint of roasty or pale chocolate malt. A touch of spice from somewhere (I am assuming phenols, but could be hops). Complex although slightly muddled yeast character. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation, somewhat warming.
