22 oz. bottle, pours a clear copper / bronze with a small off-white head. Nose brings out piney hops, quite a bit of resin, and sticky toffee malts. Flavour brings out piney hops, crackery malt (from crystal malt no doubt), and some slight floral notes. Good balance between the piney hops and crackery, bready malt, with a tinge of toffee-like sweetness. Easy to drink and well-balanced, though nothing extraordinary. Not on the level of Firestone Walker's other big beers, but still solidly made.
