Tap - lightly hazy dark copper - full-bodied with a fairly round and creamy texture in the mouth - flavor is initially sweet, with notes of brown sugar, toffee, a touch of raisin - a fairly strong bitterness arrives late, along with woody hop flavors (cedar, pine) - finish is a little hot, but otherwise a decent offering.

On tap at Flying Saucer. Pours a clear amber with a small frothy white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a bready malt and caramel. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet malt and booze and alcohol burn. Meh

On tap. Pours with a hazed deep amber hued body with a small tan head. Aromas are strongly estery, pear, apples, caramel, vanilla, medium malt and light chocolate. A bit of fusel. Smells like the yeast might be a bit stressed. Flavors are boozy, dry, estery, pear, plum, brown sugar, medium malty, brandy, lots of fruit. Medium to fuller bodied, warming medium dry.
