This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness. All these features make St-Feuillien Blonde an excellent and very drinkable beer.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, fluffy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Sweet-ish malty and yeasty fruity aroma, notes of pear, red apple, sweet-ish, biscuity, doughy, malty background. Taste is slightly dry, yeasty fruity and sweet-ish, biscuity malty, hints of pear, red and yellow apple, a touch of mirabelle and apricot, minimally grassy hoppy overtones. Well banlanced, easy drinkable - nice.

Clean and light colored, but good belgian yeast flavours. Worth buying again. Just a slightly dank bitterness that I don’t love. Great beer. Beerwulf bottle

Bottle. Nose is caramel, sweet, fruity esters, bubblegum, candy floss. Taste is begian yeast, peardrops, spices, marzipan and almond, a little grain. Very sweet marzipan finish. It's objectively too sweet, but it's hard to hold it against the beer which is an old favourite. 2020: First time in a while and it seems far less sweet than I recall and previous notes. Grain and almond more pronounced, with a yeasty finish with lots of marzipan. Perhaps it's more suited to being drunk at Christmas.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine persistente, color giallo limpido, al naso intenso lieviti belgi spezie frutta gialla, in bocca spezie chiodi di garofano frutta a pasta gialla pera, carbonatazione forte che la rende molto beverina, corpo leggero, alcool ben bilanciato, amaro moderato. Asciutta, secca nel finale. Molto elegante, un'ottima belga. 19.10.18
