Pale Moon is a drinkable pale ale that has a distinctive hop aroma without the lingering aftertaste. This Belgian-Style Pale Ale is brewed with European malts, Cascade hops, and a touch of hibiscus and orange peel. These ingredients create a rich copper colored ale with a flavor complexity that one would expect from the Blue Moon Brewing Company.

Bottle. Just to be fair I am not a big fan of this style but this wasn’t very good. Aroma was just very slightly citrus with whiffs of fruitcake and hay. Flavor was like a hoppy pilsner. Color was amber with a decent head.

Keg @ Unity Works, Wakefield, as Blue Moon Pale Ale. Clouded pale golden-amber with a small head. Has a crisp, sweet, bubble-gum aroma and taste. Slightly overbearing in this respect.

Lett tåkete lys brun med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter sitron, lett karamell, krydder, gjær og korn. Middels fylde. Middels sødme, farin og kandis, hvete, gjær og krydder. Lite bitterhet. Kort

Freebie from my friend Sarah! Thanx Babe!
This was poured into a chalice.
The appearance was a slim foamy to bubbly white head that quickly died to nothing, lacing - uh...what lacing, it wasn’t exactly there.
The smell was definitely better as it had a light touch of hibiscus and slight sweet to spicy orange peel.
The taste was semi-sweet rolling along the hibiscus and slightly sweet/spicy orange peel.
On the palate, this one sat about/at a fairly decent light to medium on the body. Sessionable - definitely, if I wanted to I’d pound these away until the cows came home.
Overall, Belgian pale ale? Uh...okay, well, uh...slightly. To me its good, but would I seek it out? Hmmm...probably not, nice to try. Thanks Coors for the tick.

At a tasting, thanks kerenmk. intense and a little hazy orange colour, aroma of candy and sourdough bread, flavour of stale sourdough bread and quite grainy, feels plain. Drinkable but probably over the hill.

Straight from the bottle at a party. Only hints of coriander and other characteristics of Belgian ales. It is not offensive, but not really too good.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks kerenmk. As Blue Moon Belgian-style Pale Ale. Hazy orange. Slightly fruity aroma with a bit of stale floral hops and some malt, slightly caramelly. Sweetish flavor with malt some fruitiness, caramel and a slightly drier finish. Medium-bodied. Drinkable.
