On draft at the brewery in Fairbanks. Pours a clear deep cola with a tan head. Aroma of toasted malt. Flavors of coffee and chocolate. Bitter roast finish.

At Capital Brew fest.
This was poured into a mini snifter.
The appearance was a nice dark brown close to black color with a sliding stringy lacing.
The smell had a really nice sweet to roasty to burnt bitter chocolate - all inclusive and rolling subtly all and over and under my nose.
The taste was mainly sweet, roasty and sweet - light chocolate with a nice robust and roasty coffee coming through slightly bitter.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed appropriately styled. Also good for me as well.
Overall, what a wonderful stout that packs no surprises but gives you exactly what you’re looking for. Living in Juneau, I can only imagine the winters Fairbanks goes through to have such a wonderful beer as this to get them by. HooDoo, you know I would have this again... I told you this today. We’re not owned by ABC, please send...Thank you.
