Niets zo vervelend als na een lange dag werk in de zinderende hitte zin in bier, maar er is geen bier. De Engelsen begrepen dat al in de 17e eeuw, en voegden wat extra hop en alcohol toe aan het bier dat houdbaar moest blijven gedurende de maandenlange reis overzee naar India. Onze India Pale Ale (IPA) is daar de hedendaagse, drinkvriendelijke variant op.
Maar liefst vijf citrusachtige hopsoorten geven onze amberkleurige India Pale Ale verrassend frisse tonen. Door de typisch bloemige en dennige tonen, en licht moutige smaak, is het bier heerlijk fris en niet te bitter in de afdronk. De Highhops wordt gebrouwen met toepassing van onze dry-hopping techniek.
Een geliefde IPA.

Butilka: Cloudy, deep golden with an orangey sheen, stable and lacy off-White head; dry herbal-fruity nose, caramel - as expected - in the Background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and pleasantly soft; lingering dry and tart herbal-hoppy finish with just a small amount of balancing sweetness. Good, moreish, still a bit simple...

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of spicy hops, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and spicy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle thnx to the brewers . Pours clear blonde, good white head . Smell is very fresh hoppyness . Taste is bitter, rather straight . Fresh and natural hops, small aromatic character , but moslty crisp bitterness . easy drinkin, lots of taste, low alcohol content, as most of their beers . Very nice

Bottle at Black Door, Helsinki. BBE 23/06/16. Colour is cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some fruits, spices, hops and malts.Very weak aftertaste.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 23/06/16, at Black Door, 20140906) The beer poured golden and rather clear. Its head was quite large, white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness, tangerine, herbalness, pine and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, herbalness, sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Because of the herbalness the overall feeling was somewhat medicine like and that was not pleasant.

A fine finger thick white head, on top of a light hazy golden body. Fine lacing. Nice tropical fruity, toffee and mild grapefruit hoppy aroma. Quite fresh and nice. Medium body. Moderate sweet, and a fresh bitterness. Malty, citric, tropical fruity notes and some grassy notes. Decent nice IPA.
