Another killer IPA from the Northwest. dark amber with high creamy head. Aroma of pine and citrus. Taste is mildly bitter and somewhat astringent. Short finish with a pleasant soft lingering palate. Nice!

This brew is a slightly hazy amber-orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Hoppy aroma with some citrus and malt behind it. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 ounce bottle. Cloudy amber orange color with a medium-sized rocky white head. Fruity toasted malt nose is quickly overcome by the piney hop nose. Flavor upfront is big bitter hops with hints of resiny tar and grapefruit pith. Some peach fruit malt emeges but is quickly squashed by the citrus hops. Did i mention this ale reeks of hops? Overall, this is hop bomb that lacks real balace but will definiely appeal to the hop heads out there.

Tap at the Seattle Taproom (Sea-Tac Airport) - 09/11/12. Clear amber with a thin off white head that quickly clears to the edge. Nose is sweet caramel malts, orange, hops, touch of stale socks. Tastes way too sweet, orange zest, jam, caramel, apple tones. Medium bodied with lightly spritzy carbonation, sweet finish. Not a well balanced beer, way too sweet - just about deserves a quick ’MEH’ !

Ok at room temp but i must say an unairconditioned room would be 95 but this one is about 70F. OK, here goes from a stubby 12 oz bottle, at least I like the packaging. Twist off cap and I see its only 1.5$ @ vintage, good deal for a big nasty nellie of a brew, IIPA that is, hehehheh. Looks like typical heavy ipa. Smell is rather dull, but certainly IPA, fer sure. Although this looks somewhat like a lager from the side, taste is syrupy nasty off road big brutal sun melting smoking yellow tarpaper. There. you have it. Thick resonous palate has no mercy on this lager lover, wewew. Each slug is a mind knumbing intoxicating experience. On style for a double, fer sure. If you like big beer syrupy ipa, better taste this, I hate em.

12oz bottle pours clear copper with thin gold edges and thin near white head. The aroma has grapefruit, pine hops and a sticky sweet maltiness leading into a bit of mango like tropical fruity notes. The taste begins with sweet thick sugar malts flowing quickly into grapefruit, mango and pine hop bitterness as well as snippets of citrus hop flavor. An interesting take on the style as I get little flavor hops, lots of bitter hops and muddled thick sweet sugary maltiness.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a dark orange with about a finger of off-white head. Aroma of citrus and grapefruit. Taste is medium bitter. Citrus and grapefruit. Medium bodied with a thick texture. Lively carbonation and a long bitter finish. Overall, very good. I would gladly drink this again.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a small off white head. The aroma is pine hops and grapefruit. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet hop flavor and light bitter finish. Easy to drink a very good IIPA from Pyramid.
