12oz bottle Danish sampled with the Madison crew. Mild, medium bodied. More centered in Porter, with some nice chocolate tones. Delicate, easy going, with some pleasant cherry tinged sour tones. A nice addition to the Belgian landscape for sure.

Weird, but succesfull marriage between a porter and a lambic. The sourness of the lambic actually combines quite nice with the roasted coffee of a porter.

08.06.2013, 0,33l bottle sampled @ BBGTC tasting:
Nice creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral and fruity sour-ish, dark malts, dried fruits, bubble gum, caramel. Taste is slightly fruity sour-ish, sorrel, grass, yeast, citrus peel, dark malts, almond essence. Medium bitterness and dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle at home. Has a black colour with a light brown creamy medium head. Pretty carbonated. Sour aroma of dark berries, forest floor, oak, horse, star fruit and roasted malt in the background. The flavour follows up with a more roasted touch and is also fruity. Has a silky and smooth mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A well-balanced mix of a sour and dark beer, but is more on the sour ale side. Nice one.

Bottle at 3 Fonteinen Restaurant, pours a deep dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of toasted malt, some dry cocoa, and some dry coffee. Flavour brings out notes of dry coffee and light toasted malt. Light-to-medium body, even for a porter, but well-balanced with nice flavours. Decent, regular porter.

Pours dark brown, big lambic like head. Lots of cocoa and oak on the nose. Taste is pretty much like every other porter but with a metallic and sweet finish. Thereβs a mild tartness but this is not a mind blowing beer but it is a good porter.

Bottle. Pours black, with a big mocha head. This is funky stuff, with an acidic oaky aroma with brett and fruity yeast, as well as the more usual and sweeter suspects of coffee and caramel. A rather strange and quite watery body here, with soft carbonation. Flavour is quite sweet with oak and coffee, but also here the yeast is evident with fruity notes of sour apples. A nice take on the genre.
