250ml bottle, thanks GT2! Poured a flat, oil black color without a head to speak of. Aroma is some boozy, roasted malts with some light barrel notes. Flavor was notes of barrel, with some really roasted malt notes surrounded by cognac.

Medium to big sweet flavor, some bitter earth, ash, big roast, dark chocolate. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Warming finish, bitter charred wood, earth, baking cocoa. Good stuff. (4.1)

33cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours opaque black with a lovely good crema head. The nose has sourdough going into treacle. The nose has really bitter liquorice with rye bread notes. The taste is similar and the palate is rich in structure with a huge tangy structure and the finish is long and enduring without being cloying.

Bottle. Pours a oily black color with a small but long lasting beige head. Complex aroma with notes of vanilla, chocolate, soy, wood - and a slightly sour note that reminds me of red wine. Taste has got notes of dark chocolate, caramel, liquor and licorice Delicious long aftertaste of coffe beans, cacao and roasted grains. Full bodied and super smooth. Well made top class stout!
