Leicht eingetrübt bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Fruchtiger, würziger und floraler Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig süß mit Karamell, würzig, fruchtig, floral hopfig. Mittlere bis große Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit und aufkommender Trockenheit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Flasche gekauft am Flughafen in Brüssel. Mitteldunkles, klares Bernstein, eine Menge Schaum, viel Kohlensäure. Aroma: Etwas fruchtig-säuerlich, Malzaromen (Karamell, Kaffee). Geschmack: schwere Süße, schlecht zuzuordnen. Karamellnuancen, Kaffee.Bitter im Gaumen. Eher cremiger Antrunk, wenig sprudelnd, mehr Saft. Bekommt nach einer Weile eine gewisse Sanftheit.

Bottle at L'estaminet, Bruges, 21/01/18. Lightly hazed golden with a big old white cap that stays for the show. Nose is caramel, clove, lemon peel, white peppery spice, floral tang, bread pudding. Taste comprises sweet malts, herbal notes, caramel, stewed fruits, orange peel, lemon drizzle cake. Full bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced layer of alcohol. A solid tripel ... not a style I tend to enjoy but revisiting this one after a number of years was a good investment.

330ml bottle from RusBeerShop in Moscow. Pours hazy yellow with a tall white head. Aroma is coriander, citrus, Belgian yeast (very much like a Witbier). Taste is light sweet and light alcoholic, herbs, citrus, fruits.

Sampled from bottle. Mostly clear golden yellow color. Aroma's: sweetish, coriander, a bit alcohol. Retronasal it's sweetish, fruity, coriander. Flavor is moderate sweet, fruity. Medium bodied. Good carbonation. Mild bitter finish. Too heavy on the coriander.
