Draught: Poured a dark brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is sweet with malts, yet has a suttle soft hops presents. Taste is similar with a sweet thick chewy malt upfront and a bitter hop leaf finish.

Sampled draught at The Scotsman, St. Julians, Malta.
Dark copper, no head. Medium sweet and near full bodied with rather thick mouthfeel. A big resiny hopppiness is lingering on until the bitter grapefruity finish. It is chewy and robust but perhaps not overly complex. Sadly this beer is no longer bottled and only available draught at a handful of places in Malta.
Old rating for the now discontinued bottled version:
Nut brown. Flowery hop aroma. Full bodied, fruity, very malty with some crystal malt flavours. Bitter finish. Not exactly what you expect to come out of a sunny tiny island nation, but surely a very pleasant surprise.
