Süß-säuerlicher Beginn mit dezenten Fruchtnoten. Hellmalzig, die Fruchtigkeit wird intensiver, würzig-malzig. Dann leicht alkoholisch, rund. Würziger werdend, belgische Hefenoten, süffig. Schwer zu deutender Doppelbock, der sich im Nachgeschmack noch am ehesten wie einer verhält- 10/11/12/12/12/12

INteresting! Instead of the expected dark roast flavor, you are greeted with a fruity nose (apricots?). Beautiful hazy copper/orange color, with light and airy head. If this was poured blind, I’d swear it was Belgian. A very different doppelbock from the Rheinland, and brewed in accordance with the Rienheitsgebot. Nice!

#200 German beer tried not to mention a local, thanks Kyle Brock my neighbor for supporting my habit. Bottle swing top: Poured a dark brown with a reddish hazy outline in the light, head is a thin to medium jello beige. Aroma is sweet caramel, malt, and some fruit. Taste is a malty/fruit mix, very interesting and undescribable. I couldn’t be happier with this beer.
