A classic German-style pilsner, from the yeast to the hops. Crisp, dry, refreshing.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of bread, wet stone, crackers. Pours lightly hazy golden with a small bleach white that falls into a ring and skiff of foam quickly. Taste has a beautiful herbal hop bitterness with some light bready malt sweetness.

Draft at Heist. Pours a mostly clear straw gold with a finger of white foam. Bready malt aromas with some sweet malt and faint yeast and leafy hop aromas. Bread, honey and light pepper on the palate. A touch sweet for my taste, but a nice drinkable German pils nonetheless.

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is a bit too sweet malt with not much else. Flavor is again a too heavy and sweet malt with some jammy fruit. This was way too heavy of a mouthfeel and sweetness to be a pilsner. This one needed a bit more work.
